The Double Ammo is a type of equipment that appears throughout the SOCOM series.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs[edit | edit source]

When equipped, Double Ammo doubles the amount of magazines that primary and secondary weapons can carry. However, it does not affect the amount of ammunition carried by grenade launchers or grenade launcher attachments, as their ammunition is classified as equipment.

SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs[edit | edit source]

Double Ammo reappears in SOCOM II and is largely unchanged; despite its description, Double Ammo also affects the amount of magazines that secondary weapons can carry.

Double Ammo reappears in SOCOM 3 and is known simply as Ammo. Despite its description, Double Ammo also affects secondary weapons; Double Ammo also has a greater effect in this game, as weapons carry more magazines compared to previous games.
