Alex Harada, callsign VANDAL, is a character that appears in SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs and SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs: Combined Assault.

Biography[]

In the 2010s, VANDAL was assigned to SPECTER's fireteam as part of Element Bravo; as part of his fireteam, VANDAL took part in numerous operations against terrorist organizations. VANDAL's assistance was particularly notable in Operation Good Neighbors, as his knowledge of Portuguese allowed the rest of the fireteam to understand the conversations of members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Brazil.[1] Following the defeat of Valeska Lukanov in Operation Stormcloud, VANDAL was promoted and reassigned to extended operations in Asia. [2]

At some point, VANDAL was assigned to be the leader of a SEAL fireteam, consisting of himself, BOOMER, WINGTIP, and AZTEC. The fireteam was sent to extract a CIA agent, codename UNDERWOOD, from Adjikistan; however, the helicopter carrying the fireteam was shot down, killing the pilots and BOOMER, and the surviving members were captured. The surviving members of the fireteam, including VANDAL, would later be rescued by a SEAL fireteam led by SPECTER.
