The Heckler & Koch MP5A5, also known as the HK5, is a well known SMG that appears in the SOCOM game series.
Background[]
The MP5A5 is a 9mm SMG, but has great reputation within counter-terrorist units. It has in recent years been eclipsed by compact carbines such as the CQBR and G36C, which offer higher stopping power in similarly-sized packages.
Advantages[]
- Good at CQB.
- High ROF good for said battle.
Disadvantages[]
- Only 15 rounds per magazine in FTB2, making the player susceptible to be killed easily.
- Bad over long range.
- Loud when unsilenced.
