Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The M16A2 in the original SOCOM: US Navy SEALs was apparently modeled on the preceding Vietnam War-era M16A1, as notable by its triangular handguard. This error was corrected in the sequel, SOCOM II: US Navy SEALs, where the rifle was modeled with the correct cylindrical handguard.
